Once connected, users can open the Grundig Smart Remote app and press the "Add Device" button. The app will automatically identify the TV, but if it fails to do so, users can manually connect their TV by entering the TV's IP Address.
The Grundig Smart Remote app offers several useful features. The Remote function allows users to control their TV using their mobile device. The Keyboard feature enables users to use their iPhone or iPad keyboard for TV applications that require input. The Smart Guide feature allows users to navigate the TV channel list, search for channels, and set reminders or recorders for events without changing the channel. The Schedule feature provides a list of all available reminder and recorder events set by the user.
